The Railway In Autumn
Those two photographs were shot in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. In the first one, the railway goes towards Québec City. In the second one, it's heading towards La Mailbaie, in Charlevoix. This is truly a beautiful region. In the second one, you can see two women walking away: my wife Hélène, and very dear friend Suzanne. The railway lies alongside the Saint-Laurent River, seen here at low tide.

@Elsa: This is our Autumn... and the colours that go with it! A slow train, and all the time in the world to admire both the River and the land. :-)
RépondreEffacerYou make the colours of Autumn come alive through your photograph.
RépondreEffacerLovely. I think you have a good eye for awesome pictures.
Congratulations

Hello PostMan... thanks. This is strange, you know, very few people commented on those two photos, when usually there are much more comments. Anyway...
RépondreEffacerIn my opinion, the first one is better. There is something strange in the second one.
Roger
I love those reds of the leaves contrasts in the landscape.
RépondreEffacer@Leovi: You put the finger on it I think. At least in Québec, it is the reds that are the most stunning during Autumn. We also have nice yellows, but reds are the eye-catchers. :-)
RépondreEffacerThanks for stopping by, Leovi!
