About The Snakes

See? So simple... the baby grand. Someone told me "The photo is not in focus!" No it's not. Of course.

À propos des serpents

Vous voyez ? C'est si simple... notre piano demi-queue (baby grand). Quelqu'un m'a dit « Mais la photo n'est pas au point ! » Non elle ne l'est pas. Bien sûr.

  4. @Adela: Ha ha ha... and since when have I been fair, dear dear Adela? I'm not known for my fairness...

I am completely and utterly faithful to one woman, but fairness in riddles is another story... Hélène, this woman of my life, even wrote in the preceding post "The bad, bad man cropped out the piece of very nice wood...". Ha. it says all I think.

So I do agree, I'm neither fair nor honest! :-)))

  9. @Zuzana: As Adela said, it's not fair... :-) Had I presented the whole picture right-side up instead of upside down, there would have been no fun... :-)))

  10. @ Jasmin: Liebe Jasmin, ich danke Ihnen! Es braucht so wenig, um Spaß zu haben manchmal!

(I fear that Google Translator did a bad job... I wrote initially:

Dear Jasmin, thank you! It takes so little to have fun sometimes!

  11. @Celia: Well, thank you Celia! there were some difficult decisions in making that image - the most important one being to keep it out of focus! :-)

  14. it really matters little what the subject matter might be - the overall composition is all that matters - and this one is beautiful - love the striking play of cold metal against warm rich wood -

  15. @smalldot: Yes, I know what you mean, I played with that too. Strange, eh, this thing becoming an abstract.

  18. @Jenean: You're right of course. Isn't this the strange thing? I can walk around in the house, or elsewhere, thinking only in terms of light and angles and what would happen to a vision if... Most of the time it's no good of course. But sometimes I hit pay dirt.

... And you're funny, you English-speaking people, with a language so different and wonderful expressions like "hit pay dirt"! :-)))
