The Photographer Is Insane / Le photographe est fou

The Photographer Is Insane

Yeah, something must be wrong... Did I use a camera for this one? Or not? What's the significance of this monstrosity?

There is a 10 CAD bet that you will not find how I did it, or where it comes from, or whatever. Hey! This is a one-way bet: you give the right (highly unlikely) answer (on the Blog of course), you get the 10 bucks. If you're way off (highly likely), you lose nothing...

I'm not laughing AT you, but WITH you!

  2. Ça me semble d'une évidence....

Comment t'as fait ça ?

BLAGUE BLAGUE BLAGUE BLAGUE

In this case, and despite all my wifely and loving efforts, I can't say I like. So I'll look doubtful and say, hmmm, that's… interesting, isn't it?

As to how you did it, I haven't got the faintest idea. All I know is that, when I came upon you with this, you were laughing like a loon.

Yeah, yeah, I see the many faces that can be found. Endlessly. But, o my soul, posess yourself in dersperation, I ask: is this art? JOKE JOKE JOKE JOKE.

  4. HA HA HA HA!!!

Nope. But Deniger Fils came off with a nice theory and is partially right: I started with a photo of the river behind the house, but almost no reflections though!. Awfully off about lighting, that's man made, as more than half of the "line art" for lack of a better word. Post-proessing and a graphics tablet...

So I will very reluctantly send my ten bucks (Canadian mind you) to Deniger Fils, who should confirm on the Blog when he receives it by Post!

    Briggs and Suzanne: Not enough...

Hélène: You're playing a dangerous game...

    So sorry...

    HA HA HA HA !!!

Non.

  5. So, uh, what'd the winning entry say? I don't speak French. lol

  6. Oops, Briggs, so sorry :-))))

Deniger's son (a guy...) says that's it's obvious, you only have to look where you're walking (the ground he means). It's a water puddle pool with tree reflections disturbed by rain. Must be early morning because of lighting conditions, and he states that we must be in April because of water temperature (???) and composition (???).

So he wins by the backdpor only, being the nearest but still far.

The good answer, in truth, is that no photograph is necessary to do that, only patience and a graphic tablet and Photoshop and a bit of effrontery. Mainly the last I would say! Ha ha ha ha...

You may dispute my ruling, of course, maybe it could change. 10 bucks is 10 bucks is 10 bucks after all!

  7. La porte arrière ne me suffit pas.

Garde ton 10, chez Roger. Je me reprendrai bien... ;)
