À l'exclusion des photographes de presse, les photographes ont presque toujours déformé la réalité. Aujourd'hui, un mot sur les courtes focales.

Lorsque vous utilisez une courte focale (grand angle), les objets s'éloignent apparemment de vous et l'angle de vue est beaucoup plus grand que la normale. La profondeur de champ devient exagérément grande et les objets rapprochés vous apparaîtront déformés, souvent beaucoup plus longs ou profonds.

Pour la photo ci-dessous, j'ai utilisé une focale de 17 mm. Résultat, notre piano quart de queue (1,8 m) a carrément l'air d'un piano de concert de 2,8 m.

Ce genre de technique fait partie de l'arsenal courant du photographe. Il fait alors tout simplement preuve de créativité. Cela fait partie de ses outils courants. La photographie un art nouveau dont il faut admettre l'existence une fois pour toutes.

Photography And Reality

With the notable exception of press photographers, the photographers have almost always distorted reality. Today, we will talk about short focal lengths.

When you use a short focal length (wide angle): objects seem to be farther away. The depth of field is much greater than usual and objects are distorted. They will often appear to be much longer as a result of a greater depth of field.

For the photograph below, I've used a 17 mm focal length. The result is that our baby grand (72 in long) looks like a concert piano (around 112 in).

This kind of effect is part of the tools the pro photographer uses constantly. He is simply showing some creativity. His tools are a camera body, a lot of lenses, a tripod, a computer and a lot of software. This is a new art that must be recognised as such once and for all.
